Your music stays yours

Privacy, without
the fine-print maze.

In Tune processes microphone audio on your iPhone. We do not save your recordings, upload them or use advertising trackers.

Microphone audio

With your permission, In Tune uses the microphone for real-time pitch detection. The audio is processed in memory on your device. In Tune does not save microphone recordings or upload this audio. You can change permission in iPhone Settings. Reference sounds, metronome and chord diagrams remain available without microphone access.

Settings and local data

Preferences, custom tuning notes and names, onboarding status and dates/counts used to space occasional native rating requests stay in local app storage. We do not receive these preferences or your tuning sessions. Deleting the app removes its local data. Your Apple device backups may retain or restore these settings according to your backup choices.

Purchases, restores and ratings

Apple handles payments, restores and App Store ratings. In Tune checks verified StoreKit purchase information on your device to determine Pro access. We do not receive payment card details or send purchase transactions to a developer server. When you choose Rate the app, the app may contact Apple's lookup service with its bundle identifier and storefront country to locate its store page. Apple may process network information when its services are used. Read Apple's App Store privacy information.

No advertising or analytics SDKs

The app has no advertising SDKs, third-party analytics SDKs, developer account registration or developer backend receiving your audio, preferences or app sessions. Optional Apple diagnostics depend on your device privacy settings.
